Providers can help IG fight fraud, waste, and abuse.

IG Integrity Initiative

The HHSC Inspector General has launched the IG Integrity Initiative (IGII), a new collaboration between the IG and Medicaid providers, Managed Care Organizations, and any individual or entity that receives Medicaid funding.  The Initiative will strengthen the effort to root out fraud, waste, and abuse in Texas Medicaid by building a statewide integrity network.

The IGII rests upon the core premise that the vast majority of Medicaid providers comply with the rules and want the same thing that the IG wants: the best Medicaid system Texas can have, with as little fraud, waste, and abuse as possible.
